Building a dialogue across healthcarepatients | providers | industry | policymakers
Engage Health Alliance Europe is an independent organisation that aims to facilitate interaction between a broad range of stakeholders and organisations interested in improving patient care across Europe. 'Engage' believes that most challenges in healthcare require collaborative approaches and we aim to play a constructive role by providing platforms for debate, consensus, and action-planning - all centred around agendas defined by patients as ‘most important’.
Close ties with researcher PatientView puts 'Engage' in a position to provide rapid but rigorous research into the needs and insights of patient groups and patients across Europe. The intention is to build upon conclusions reached at 'Engage' meetings, workshops and roundtables, and to disseminate outcomes, share best practice, and help provide additional impetus for programmes that will benefit patients. Our approach to conferences is to re-invest sponsorship and delegate fees from commercial organisations to help fund NGO and patient group attendance. Engage Health Alliance-Europe’s first conference was held in London in March 2011, you can find out more about this conference at engagemeeting.org/london
